Who are Activity Superstore?
Activity Superstore offers gift experiences to suit every occasion, via its own website www.activitysuperstore.com and by in-store sales through reseller brands. They were founded in 1997 and since then have given over a million UK customers fantastic experiences, with over 700 different experiences to choose from.
What did we achieve?
- A complete redesign that resulted in a superior product that reflects the quality of the gift experience.

- A more efficient and streamlined process for producing and dispatching orders.
Why did Activity Superstore need our help?
Historically, once purchased, a gift experience was delivered to the recipient in the form of a printed letter with a voucher attached – which the Activity Superstore team would overprint as and when orders were received.
This process was manual, labour intensive and a bit of a pain to execute, with a finished product that didn’t necessarily reflect the quality of the brand or the actual experience the gift recipient would enjoy. Activity Superstore wanted to deliver a better customer experience and enhance their reseller presence, whilst at the same time reducing internal workflow and overhead.
How did we do it?
ProCo worked with Activity Superstore to completely redesign the voucher and messaging, while also completely changing the packaging to make postage costs more efficient. The result was a far superior end product, which could be produced in a much more streamlined way, all packaged to deliver significant postage cost savings.
A fully automated system runs a sweep of the Activity Superstore database three times a day, pulling print ready files into ProCo’s automated digital production facility in Stansted. The service level agreement to the customer is set so that orders placed before 2 pm are processed and dispatched to recipients the same day. Overall, the revised package solution has delivered a much better product, reduced internal overhead and a reduction of over 50% in postal costs – and ProCo have a very happy client.
